Hello there, something very similar is happening to me. We live in a fresh out of the box new neighborhood and my home was one of the first to be manufactured. Just three houses out of the 30 don't have fiber. I can just get 50mbs and my neighbors, two houses down, have gigabit. If it's not too much trouble prompt.I did find out that I could get a business line by signing up to pay $30k (split over monthly payments) for 2 years of gigabit fiber. This would just get the fiber to the front of our house.
